The aggregate Territorial Quality of Life Index is a composite indicator, calculated by applying the arithmetic mean on the composite TQoL Indexes at a dimension level.
The index is composed by the the following composite indicators:
1. Good Life Enablers Index (B)
2. Life Maintenance Index (M)
3. Life Flourishing Index (F)
Taking a systemic and multi-faceted approach to quality of life measurement, the conceptual map encompasses three spheres – personal, socio-economic and ecological, – and three quality of life dimensions – good Life enablers, life survival (“maintenance”) and life flourishing. Thus, the conceptual map is articulated in nine quality of life domains and 22 sub-domains.
For further details regarding the data used (sources, selected year, definitions...) consult the Indicator "Quality of Life indicators (code qol_indi)".
