Deal value that is invested between 2003 and 2009, both Greenfield projects and M&A deals (around half of the M&A deals did not have a reported deal value – the total deal value is reported for the GF and M&A projects that had a reported deal value). A Greenfield project is a crossborder investment in a new physical project or expansion of an existing investment which creates new jobs and capital investment. M&A deals include merger, acquisition, initial public offering (IPO), private equity and venture capital deals.Deal values have been corrected for inflation and are reported in 2015 value.
