Deal value in the manufacturing sector, both Greenfield projects and M&A deals (around half of the M&A deals did not have a reported deal value – the total deal value is reported for the GF and M&A projects that had a reported deal value). A Greenfield project is a crossborder investment in a new physical project or expansion of an existing investment which creates new jobs and capital investment. M&A deals include merger, acquisition, initial public offering (IPO), private equity and venture capital deals. Deal values have been corrected for inflation and are reported in 2015 value. The analysed period is 2003-2015.
