Abstract

The key objectives of this project are to provide a qualified list of private platforms which can provide comparable data for a European wide territorial analysis and to work towards a framework of cooper-ation that would allow for lasting data extraction possibilities. In this context, a demonstrator study was set up to present exemplary possibilities of how Big Data can be utilized for territorial analysis. Examples are provided based on data extracted from LinkedIn and Twitter.
