For the twelve INTERREG A and B programmes, which are participating in the ESPON Territorial Evidence Support for ETC Programmes Project, four synthetic indicators were developed to describe following fields: “Technological Affinity”, “Sustainable Tourism”, “Knowledge Output”, “Human Capital Endowment”. For each programme region, indicator availability depends on the data availability of the region.
Furthermore, the data set contains one composite indicator describing the “Economic Vitality of Small Firms” and the change of the synthetic indicators “Knowledge Output” between 2008 and 2013.
