For the SUPER project a cluster analysis was performed to identify a typology of land use structures. Input was the relative proportion of different types of urban land (urban fabric, industrial, urban green) with a NUTS3 area. The method was a factor analysis, leading to identifying European NUTS3 as one of several clusters based on data for 2018. The same clustering was applied to data from 2000 to identify changes.
