The results of the forecasting exercises described so far are exploited to simulate future developments for five main non-economic outcomes in CE regions; across all maps, results indicate levels for each variable at the end of the simulation period (i.e. 2030). Projections have been made based on translating econometric results in terms of GDP into five classes of non-economic outcomes, cutting across all thematic fields of the project, namely:
- Pollution
- Trust/Social capital
- Accessibility
- Transnational cooperation
- Waste recycling
