Based on the authors' LinkedIn network, the indicator measures the percentage of LinkedIn members with certain skills out of all LinkedIn members in a region. Data were manually extracted from the authors' LinkedIn profiles using the Recruiter Lite tool to demonstrate how LinkedIn data can be used to provide insights for the Territorial Agenda especially in the field of Employment and economic development as well as Digitalisation and the 4th industrial revolution. The underlying data have not been validated and are only an approximation. A bias of the data due to the use of the authors' profile cannot be excluded. The identification of LinkedIn members with certain skills was based on an ontology. The ontology is listed in the final report 'Territorial indicators based on big data'.
