The CORINE Land Cover and the European Soil Database were clipped utilising the administrative borders of each area of interest (Edinburgh, Rathlin island, Kymenlaakso and Meath County) as clipping mask, to facilitate the calculation of areas of certain soil types dedicated to certain land use. It was then used for the composition of the Territorial greenhouse gas quantification indicator.
