The survey of the ESPON Geography of COVID-19 (Territorial impacts of COVID-19 and policy answers in European regions and cities) Project was deployed from 07 March 2022 to 21 May 2021 to inspect how local/regional administrations across the EU cope with the social consequences of COVID-19 containment measures including poverty, inequalities, and social exclusion. The survey was aiming to assess and compare measures’ effectiveness across different parts of the EU during the pandemic.
