This data represent the amount of municipal waste [kg] per inhabitant on NUTS 2 level.
Data on household waste for the year 2012 were collected, where possible, at the NUTS2 level. In Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Greece and Denmark no data were found below the state level. The data on NUTS0 level of these countries can be found on the official websites of the statistical offices. The population figures for the kg of waste were downloaded from Eurostat.
