Number of recorded overnight stays of tourists in hotel and similar establishments
Establishments: Hotels and similar establishments for Austria, Italy and Slovenia, "Hostellerie" for Liechtenstein; Hotels and spa facilities for Switzerland; Hotels for France; Tourist accomodations excluding camping sites for Bavaria; Hotels, Hotel garnis, guest house and hostelery for Baden - Württemberg.
Austria: data was provided on the level of districts ("Bezirke") and had to be merged to the NUTS3 regions. Some districts are part of two NUTS3- regions. The figures are assigned to the region, which involves the larger territory of the district: Baden to AT127; St.Pölten to AT123; Mistelbach to AT125; Gänserndorf to AT126; Urfahr-Umgebung to AT312; Bregenz to AT341.
