Indicator: Green infrastructure - spatial distribution

The indicator shows the coverage percentage of Green Infrastructure (GI) within each region at NUTS 2/3 level in Europe. It is displayed in five classes, increasing linearly from 0%, and gradually in steps of 20%, up to a maximum value of 99%. When no data is available for a NUTS region, “No data” is displayed.

The values of the indicator are computed by dividing the area of green infrastructure in each region at NUTS 2/3 level by the total area of the region.
