Indicator: Population living in vulnerable territories

“Population living in vulnerable territories” describes the sum of the population for each country living in territories classified by a certain vulnerability level (very low vulnerability, low vulnerability, medium vulnerability, high vulnerability and very high vulnerability). The indicator is in absolute value. The vulnerability level is taken from the key indicator “Territorial vulnerability to natural hazards” (VUL_NH) of the ESPON TITAN project.
