Methodology

Typology calculated by means of a cluster analysis (Ward method) with subsequent discriminant analysis using data provided by EUROSTAT: Labour force participation rates of men in the age groups 15-24, 25-34 and 35-44; labour force participation rate of women in the age group 35-44 and the "gender gap" for the age groups 15-24 and 25-34. The gender gap is calculated as follows: (Female labour force participation rate / male labour force participation rate) / Female labour force participation rate
