Delineated inner peripheries at grid level in Europe, based upon poor access to banks, stored as a polygon shapefile.
Two shapefiles are provided, one representing the IPs for 2016, the other one representing the IPs for 2021.
Grid cells with a standardized car travel time of > 150 to the next bank offices (cash machine locations have not been considered) have been identified as inner peripheries. Neighbouring grid cells have been merged to form a single IP area; boundaries of these areas have been smoothed.
