Indicator: Crude rate of net migration

The crude rate of net migration plus adjustment is defined as the ratio of net migration (including statistical adjustment) during the year to the average population in that year.
The value is expressed per 1000 persons.

Methodology

Annual net migration rates were calculated by forming the ratio of Net migration total per 1000 of the resident population. Parent data were downloaded from Eurostat and processed in Stata in order to create the Net migration rates in specified areas. The missing indicator values have been interpolated using the linear interpolation method.
