The dataset contains the default data for the GGIA tool, consisting of NUTS0-level datasets for territorial and consumption-based quantification of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Territorial quantification estimates the direct and some indirect GHG emissions from the specified geographic area. This dataset provides default values for the quantification of the GHG emissions from transport, land-use change and energy use in buildings. Consumption-based quantification estimates the global GHG emissions caused by the consumption of the residents of the specified area. GGIA applies an environmentally extended input-output method, and the dataset provides information on the consumption, based on a.o. household budget surveys (HBS).
